For the last decade, Milner has traveled the globe working with chambers of commerce, business trade associations, and governments helping to build democracy and market economies. He's been to Russia 6 times, Egypt 12 times, Jordan and the Middle East 18 times, and has also worked in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Albania, Tunisia, Senegal, Mongolia, Georgia, and South Africa. Using his experience as a vice president for a Fortune 500 utility, as a candidate for Congress, as president and ceo of the Texas Chamber of Commerce (now the Texas Association of Business), a Washington and Austin lobbyist, and as president of Global Strategy Consultants, he has witnessed first hand the many opportunties and challenges in the rapidly development global economy.
